Documentation
Wiring, first start and the MQTT interface of the KLOKL Bridge, firmware v1.0.2.
Wiring
Two terminals: one for the 12 V power supply, one for the reader. The reader is powered through the bridge.

| +12 V | red wire of the reader |
|---|---|
| A+ | yellow wire |
| B− | blue wire |
| GND | black wire |
| 12 V DC | + and − of the power supply |
|---|
| 120 Ω | switch on when the bridge is at the end of a long bus |
|---|
Wire colours as on the Hikvision DS-K1107AMK. Check the manual of your reader if you use a different one.

First start
Power up. Connect 12 V. The power LED lights up and the bridge opens its setup network OSDP-Reader-Setup-XXXXXX.
Join the setup network. Connect with your phone or laptop; the setup page opens by itself. Choose your Wi-Fi and enter the password.
Open the web interface. The bridge is now reachable in your network. Enter your MQTT broker, user and password there.
http://osdp-reader-XXXXXX.local/Check Home Assistant. Under Settings → Devices you find the new device with card data, keypad, PIN status and diagnostic sensors.
MQTT interface
Every topic starts with the device ID, for example osdp-reader-3f9a12.

| …/card_data | Number of the card that was read |
|---|---|
| …/keypad | Code entered on the keypad, sent after # |
| …/pin_status | “Code akzeptiert” or “Code nicht akzeptiert” |
| …/reader_status | Connection state of the reader (retained) |
| …/available | online or offline (last will) |
| …/cmd/feedback_ok | Positive feedback on the reader (LED, beeper) |
|---|---|
| …/cmd/feedback_denied | Negative feedback on the reader |
| …/cmd/access_code | Set the master code |
| homeassistant/sensor/… | Sensors, including diagnostics |
|---|---|
| homeassistant/button/… | Feedback OK and Feedback Denied |
| homeassistant/text/… | Access code |
Reset
If Wi-Fi or the web interface can no longer be reached, hold the reset button for 10 seconds. The bridge then starts its setup network again.
Updates
New firmware is installed through the web interface. The upload page works over HTTP, so with “HTTPS only” a plain HTTP access remains for maintenance.
